Funeral services for Rhonda Faye Evans, of Wesson, are Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Springs of Praise and 3 p.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Garden in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, from 9 a.m. until times of service at the church. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Evans, 51, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016. She was a youth pastor and co-director of For-Life Ministries at Springs of Praise Church where she also was director of the women’s Bible study.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Evans; son, Darren Kennedy Jr., of Bogue Chitto; daughter, Misty Kennedy of Hammond, Louisiana; her mother, Rosa Fontenot of Violet, Louisiana; brothers, Carl Fontenot of Violet, Louisiana, and Francis Fontenot of Mississippi; sister, Betty Brady of Brookhaven; and three grandchildren.
