Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1:49 a.m. Saturday on Hyram Street. No injuries were reported. They responded to a grass fire at 2:32 p.m. Sunday on Hwy. 583. They also responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. Sunday on I-55 Southbound at Mile Marker 39. Two injuries were reported.

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 8:10 a.m. Saturday on I-55 Northbound at mile marker 35. They responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 11 a.m. Saturday at I-55. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 4:14 p.m. Sunday on I-55 Northbound at mile marker 40.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 47 calls Friday through Sunday. 11 were transfers, with three to the city, one to the county, five to Jackson and one the Hattiesburg. There were 36 emergency calls; 25 medical, with 17 in the city and 11 in the county; five traumas, with three in the city and two in the county; and six MVAs, with two in the city and four in the county.
