Arrest reports

The Lincoln County Jail Docket for Monday were as follows:

• Ariel Gore, 7-28-1990, of 1564 Hilltop Lot 9 — arrested for simple assault/domestic violence by the LCSO.

• James P. Johns, 2-18-1986, of 3396 China Grove Road — arrested for possession of a controlled substance by the LCSO.

• Melissa Rogers, 12-24-1970, of 1520 N. Center St. — arrested for possession of a controlled substance and contempt of municipal court by the BPD.

Note: An arrest does not constitute guilt for the accused. All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Corrections and

clarifications:

A judge sentenced Joseph Freeman, of Wesson, to 40 years in prison with 30 years suspended. A headline published Tuesday gave an incorrect figure. We regret the error and are happy to set the record straight.
