“Absentee voting is going very well,” Circuit Clerk Dustin Bairfield said.

The last day to vote absentee at the circuit clerk’s office is Nov. 5. The clerk’s office will be open that Saturday morning to accept last-minute absentee votes.

Voters can request a ballot to be mailed, but it has to be notarized and mailed back to the clerk’s office by Nov. 7, he said.

There are 20,647 active registered voters in Lincoln County, Bairfield said.
