Memorial services for Mona Lisa Elkins Bland, of Brookhaven, are Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service.

A memorial gathering will be Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bland, 60, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at her residence. She was born on Oct. 3, 1956, to Thomas Elkins Jr. and Doris Norton Elkins.

Bland received customer appreciation awards with All American and loved to write, sing and play guitar. She also loved doing art.

Preceding her in death were her father; and daughter, Baby McDonald.

Survivors are her mother; daughter, Mikina Holloway and husband, Jimmy; brother, Willie Elkins; sister, Trish Story; four grandchildren, Slayd Oswalt, Ryder Holloway, Tristan Holloway and Abigail Holloway; cousins, Wendi, Nickki and Vicki, and their children; and her aunt, Lois Lightsey.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Centerpoint Church, P.O. Box 3298, Brookhaven, MS 39601.
