It’s a ‘Home Seekers Scare-adise’

Photo by Donna Campbell/Christopher Aaron (left), Bradley Ducote and Autumn Beavers, all Bogue Chitto students enrolled at Mississippi School of the Arts, were frightening during the two nights of Halloween hijinks at the school’s annual Artoberfest Haunted House. Cooper Hall was transformed into a Home Seekers Paradise. The house was only open through Saturday, but there are still opportunities galore to bargain for treats — or tricks — on Halloween night. No curfews were set in Wesson, Brookhaven or Lincoln County, but law enforcement officials urge parents and children to use caution when trick-or-treating. New Sight Volunteer Fire Department will be giving out candy beginning at 6 p.m. Monday. Several churches in the area are also hosting fall festivals tonight.
