Funeral services for Dakota Wyland, of McCall Creek, are Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Providence Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Wyland, 17, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016. He was born on June 3, 1999.

He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church and attended Enterprise Attendance Center, where he was on the tennis team.

Preceding him in death is his grandmother, Barbara Wyland.

Survivors are his father, Heath Wyland and stepmother, Cameron; mother, Jennifer Wallace Lee and stepfather, Michael; brothers, Nicholas Wallace and wife Jessica, of San Antonia, Texas, Dalton Russ and Christopher Lee, of McCall Creek; Gabriel Egan, of Progress; sisters, Amber Wyland, of McCall Creek, Caelan Sharp, of Liberty, and Tempest Egan, of Progress; his grandparents, Kimble Wallace Jr. and Kathy Wallace, of Monticello, Mack and Carol Wyland of Deridder, Louisiana; and Mark and Stacy Stutes, great-grandfather, Kimble Wallace; nephew, Appollo Wallace, his girlfriend, Danielle Callender; and Claudia Romero, a foreign exchange student who lived with the family and he loved like a sister.
