Indictments served for assault, burglary

A Lincoln County grand jury found enough evidence in cases it heard recently to establish the commission of a crime and issued indictments for several individuals.

Among cases heard were burglary, drug possession and aggravated assault.

An indictment does not represent a guilty verdict.

Among those served already include:

• Theresa Dawn Fowler was indicted for conspiracy to commit burglary of a dwelling and burglary of a dwelling.

• David Earl Wilkerson was indicted for burglary of a truck.

• Corbin Thompson Allen was indicted for  burglary of an automobile.

• William B. Sullivan was indicted for burglary of a building.

• Jeffery Wayne Williamson was indicted for receiving stolen property.

• Corbin Thompson Allen and Joel Shandon Alexander were indicted for conspiracy to commit burglary of an automobile and three counts of burglary of an automobile.

• Darrell Lamont Gilmore was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• O’Darius Monta Black was indicted for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Deondre Tashawn Harris was indicted for two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Ricardo Smith was indicted of conspiracy to utter a forged instrument and uttering a forgery.

• Whyndi Nicole Staggs and Ira Leonard King were indicted for possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and more than two but less than 10 grams of methamphetamine.

•Eric R. Carroll was indicted for conspiracy to possess cocaine, possession of less than two grams of cocaine and possession of less than 30 grams of synthetic marijuana.

• Joshua P. Wilkerson was indicted for possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine, two doses of hyrocodone, one dose of alprazolam and two doses of amphetamine.

• Brandi L. Martin was indicted for possession of at least two but less than 10 doses of amphetamine, three doses of hydrocodone and nine doses of alprazolam.

• Cindy G. Smith was indicted for the possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine, less than two grams of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Justin W. Herring was indicted for possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of cocaine, of at least two but less than 10 doses of oxycodone, at least two but less than 10 doses of amphetamine and at least two but less than 10 doses of oxycodone.

• Timothy Harris was indicted for failure to support minor children.

• Karmela Cameron was indicted for a felonious bad check.

• Albert Charles Thomas was indicted for aggravated assault and kidnapping.

• Joshua M. Banks was indicted for the unlawful sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of cocaine.
