Funeral services for Timothy Wayne Smith, of Monticello, are Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, at 11 a.m., with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Phil Turner and Bro. Keith Smith will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 10, 2016, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until time of the service.

Mr. Smith, 56, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at Country Brook Nursing Home with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 28, 1960, in Monticello, to Helen Smith and A. J. “Pete” Smith Jr. He enjoyed classic television shows, movies, comedy, music, and artwork. He was also a loving son and brother and friend to everyone he met.

Preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors are his mother, Helen Smith Carter; stepfather and best friend,

Charles “Chuck” Carter, of Brookhaven; brother, Darrell Smith and wife Donna, of McComb; sister, Cathy Waldron, of Madison; nephew, Corey Smith, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; nieces, Lindsey and Kristi Waldron, of Madison; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
