Loyd Star’s Abby Thomas finished in fourth place in the MHSAA 2A Cross Country Championships Monday at Choctaw Trails in Jackson.

She finished with a time of 21:24.8 and averaged a 6:53.6 mile.

Teammate Aubrey Britt finished in 15th place with a time of 23:21:3 for an average mile of 7:31.1.

West Lincoln finished in ninth place as a team and Enterprise finished in 14th place.

For the boys, Enterprises’s Austin Carter finished in second place with a time of 17:35.0. He averaged a 5:39.6 mile.

West Lincoln’s Jonathan Mathis finished in fourth place with a time of 18:21.5. He averaged a 5:54.6 mille.

As a team, West Lincoln finished in fifth place and Loyd Star finished in sixth place. Enterprise finished in 16th place.
