Sheila Watts Schexnaydre

Funeral services for Sheila Watts Schexnaydre, of Summit, are today Tuesday, Nov.15, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Johnstons Station Baptist Church with burial in Easthaven Cemetery. Rev. Michael Didon will officiate. Jones Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue today Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Schexnaydre, 62, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born July 29, 1954, to Luther Lee “Cootie” Watts and Geraldine “Jerry” Fletcher Watts. She was a member of Johnstons Station Baptist Church.  She worked at Hill Behan Lumber Co. and also for Southwest Mississippi Community College in the “Grill.”  She loved her family and grandchildren. 

Preceding her in death are her parents; and her infant brother.

Survivors are her husband, Gregory Schexnayder, of Summit; a daughter, Amanda Schexnaydre, of Summit; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael Watts and Lisa of Summit; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy Jackson and David, of Summit, and Kimbra Phillips and Danny, of Summit; three grandchildren, Timothy Bice Jr., Izabella Bice and Malachi Teipelke along with a host of others that she loved as family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jonathon Phillips, Luke Watts, Derick Mason, Raymond Mason, Peter Teipelke and Mark Teipelke.
