The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a house fire at 10:22 a.m. Monday on East Monticello Street. No injuries were reported.

Monticello reports

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Monday.

The Monticello Fire Department responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 7:43 a.m. Monday on Hwy. 27/Broad Street. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries at 1:05 p.m. Monday on Carmel-New Hope Road.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Monday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Monday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Monday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Monday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 1:55 p.m. Monday on I-55 Southbound Exit 30. They responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 8:04 p.m. Monday on Hwy. 550. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 10 calls Monday. Two were transfers, with one to the city, and one to the county. There were eight emergency calls; four medical, with two in the city and two in the county; one trauma in the county; and MVAs in the county.
