Mable Harris

Funeral service for Mable Harris, of Brookhaven, are with Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Harris, 58, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born March 25, 1958, in Brookhaven, to Ameal Johnson and Laura Lee Harris.

Preceding her in death was her infant daughter, her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors are two daughters, Maria Y. Harris and Precious A. Harris of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; five grandchildren, Chyna T. Harris, Kameron D. Harris, Deondrea Turner Jr., Jordan D.Harris and Braden J. Harris, all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, several godchildren and a number of other relatives and close friends.

Respectful of her wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial services.

In lieu of flowers or sympathy cards, memorial donations can be made in memory of her to St. Jude Cancer Foundation, or The American Cancer Society.
