The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoking ceiling fan at 3:04 p.m. Monday on Hardy Lane. They also responded to a stove fire at 6:16 p.m. Monday on McCormick Court.

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Monday.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Monday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to an illegal fire at 5:47 p.m. Monday on Clopton Lane. They also responded to an illegal fire at 5:59 p.m. Monday on Case Road.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving three vehicles at 5:16 p.m. Monday on Hwy. 51 Northeast. Injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 13 calls Monday. Four were transfers, with one in the county and three to Jackson. There were nine emergency calls; five medical, with two in the city and three in the county; and four traumas, with one in the city and three in the county.
