Lincoln County under tornado watch

A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. today for Southwest Mississippi.
A wind advisory has been issued for the area and is in effect until 6 p.m. today.
The National Weather Service in Jackson says strong winds will blow through ahead of thunderstorms. Wind speeds are expected to be 20-30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult for high-profile vehicles. Wind gusts of 40 mph can bring down large limbs.
Entergy reported some power outages throughout the day. About 130 in Lincoln County were without electricity at 1:45 p.m.
