Funeral services for Grace Case Remington, of Wesson, will be Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson at 11 a.m. with burial in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson. Bro. Tom McCormick will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Mrs. Remington, 91, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016, at her residence in Wesson. She was born May 4, 1925, in Lincoln County, to Louis and Rena Furlow Case. She was a lifelong member of Zion Hill Baptist Church; was a homemaker; and enjoyed shopping, socializing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Vernon Edward Remington; sisters, Julia Walker Mooney and Nana Lois Case; brothers, Memphis Case and Lee Case; and son-in-law, Buell “Rusty” Carty.

Survivors are her daughters, Barbara Remington Crow and husband Billy of Wesson, Billie Remington, Carty of Wesson, and Brenda Remington Chatham and husband Perron, of Petal; grandchildren, Dr. Leslie Anne Carty, Troy Edward “Eddie” Carty, Bradley Crow and wife Becca, Misty Crow Oster and husband Joseph, Craig Chatham and wife Deborah, Casey Chatham Harvey and Gordon, and Carl Chatham and wife Courtney; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
