Funeral services for Versie Lee Shannon, of Loyd Star, are Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Jerico Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Shannon, 72, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center. He was born Feb. 22, 1944, to Versie Shannon and Sylenaer Coleman Shannon.
