BHS soccer teams crush Natchez; play tonight

The Brookhaven boys soccer team won their first district game against the Natchez bulldogs Friday night by a final score of 8-1. With the win, the Brookhaven Panthers move to 7-1 on the season and 1-0 in the district.
Logan Emfinger and Tyler Mixon each scored three goals on the night. Tre Laird and Cory Patterson each chipped in a goal for the game.
The Brookhaven girls also won their game against Natchez 9-0. With the win, Brookhaven moves to 3-5 on the season and 1-0 in district play. Kat Wallice and Macy Brabham led the Panthers on the night with three goals each. Madi Miller played a great game with two goals and Layla Woodall chipped in with one goal as well.
Brookhaven soccer will stay at home for their next game tonight against Wesson. Junior Varsity boys begins at 4:30 p.m., varsity girls at 5:30 p.m. and varsity boys at 7 p.m.
