Clarmon Ray Hodges

Funeral services for Clarmon Ray Hodges, of Brookhaven, are Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be today, Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hodges, 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at his residence. He was born Nov. 13, 1925, to Sim Hodges and Mattie Robison Hodges. He was a carman for 38 years at IC Railroad and a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, S.M. Hodges and Elwood Hodges; and his sister, Earline Bourn.

Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Thelma Hodges; son, Garry Hodges; daughter, Connie Turnage; two grandchildren, Stacy Garner and husband Jeff, and Brian Turnage and wife Tricia; four great-grandchildren, Brandon Ravencraft, Brett Ravencraft, Megan Turnage, and Caleb Turnage; one niece, one nephew, and other loving family members and friends.
