Funeral services for Helen Boyd Brown, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service with burial at Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Brown, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Golden Living Center. She was born Jan. 21, 1929.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Leon Boyd and Lena Jordan Boyd; her husband of 59 years, Thomas Brown; daughter, Peggy O. Brown; brother, Harold Francis Boyd and wife Ruby; sister, Hilda Lewis; sister-in-law, Minnie Belle Boyd.

Survivors are her sons, Neil O. Brown, Lad Q. Brown and wife Elizabeth, Bryan O. Brown and Savage E. Brown; brother, Robert Earl Boyd; and brother-in-law, Nollie Lewis; five grandchildren, Deke Brown (April), Jake Brown, Nicole Butler (Eric), Lane Lee (Nathan) and Sharon Brown; three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
