Thanks to all who donated to food drive

Published 7:17 pm Saturday, December 17, 2016

At last count, donations to the Holiday Food Pantry Drive totaled $8,359.65. That’s a big increase over last year’s number.

We want to thank each and every individual, business or group that donated to the effort. The five organizations who will benefit from the donations work to serve people right here in Lincoln County. St. Francis of Assisi/St. Vincent de Paul, Union Hall Baptist Church, St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, the Greater Hope Foundation and Bethel AME all play an important role in helping the less-fortunate. Those who donated to the drive do as well.

We also want to thank Bank of Brookhaven for partnering with us on this effort.
