Jack Edmonson, a Louisville native, joins Copiah Lincoln Community College with an abundance of coaching experience to help lead the Wolves in 2017. Edmonson graduated from East Central Community College in 2009 before earning a degree in Heath, Physical Education and Recreation from Mississippi Valley State University in 2011. Edmonson was a member of both the ECCC Warriors’ and MVSU Delta Devils’ baseball teams. After his time at MVSU, Edmonson continued his education at Delta State University where he received a Master of Teaching in Sports Management and Human Performance in 2015.
Though young, Edmonson has accumulated over six years of coaching experience at the community college level. Jack has been a member of the coaching staff at Mississippi Delta Community College, East Central Community College, and Holmes Community College. These experiences have given Edmonson a solid understanding of the community college system, and have allowed him to build relationships across the state at multiple levels of the game. Edmonson hopes to bring excitement and energy to the Co-Lin program, and utilize his recruiting abilities.
“I’m very excited about joining the Co-Lin family,” said Edmonson. “I am really looking forward to hit the ground running with recruiting, and helping this program in every way that I can.”
