Joshua Ty Turnage 

Funeral services for Joshua Ty Turnage, of Eugene, Oregon, are Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Jones Family Funeral Services in McComb with burial at Gillsburg Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Turnage, 32, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017. He was born March 28, 1984 in McComb. He was the son of Darlene W. James. He graduated from Wesson Attendance Center. He attended Co-Lin Community College in Wesson. He also attended East Mississippi Community College in Scooba as well as Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, and the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

Survivors are the mother of his child, Kelly Turnage, of Hamden, Connecticut; his mother; grandmother, Margie Wallace, of McComb; great-grandmother, Aline Robinson, of Bogue Chitto; a daughter, Samira Lily Turnage, of Hamden, Connecticut; a brother, Justin Ross Robinson and wife Jennifer, of Gillsburg; his aunts and uncles, Judy and Miguel Hurtado, of Oviedo, Florida, Sheila and Jimmy Westbrook, of Summit, and Janie Lee, of McComb; along with many cousins.
