Funeral services for Georgia Jeane Polk Massey, of Brookhaven, are Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, from noon until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Massey, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017. She was born in D’Lo, May 11, 1929, to Oscar Hardy Polk and Asha Marie Franklin Polk. She was a devoted homemaker and family was the utmost importance. She loved watching her grandsons play sports and play in the band, and her granddaughter in pageants, dance and cheerleading. She was a member of First Baptist Church Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; siblings, Mickey Bramson, Ralph Polk, Mattie Sue Keith, Robert Polk, Ouida Hancock, John Polk and James Polk.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Rev. Malcolm Massey; daughter, Vicki Daniels and husband Rev. Jon Daniels; three grandchildren, Reese Daniels and wife Allison, Rachel King and husband Wesley, and Russ Daniels; three great-grandchildren, Dayne Daniels, Addie Daniels and Selah Daniels.
