Funeral services for Dorothy M. Boswell Sykes, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation is today, Feb. 10, 2017, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sykes, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at Brook Manor Nursing Home in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Autie Bee Boswell; husband, Alfred Sykes, son, Felix “Bo” Sykes; son-in-law, Charles Ray Lofton; brother, Robert “Bob” Boswell and wife Virginia; and her grandparents.

Survivors are her daughters, Phyllis Lofton, Sheila Davis; son, Danny Sykes and wife Sheila; brother Charles Boswell and wife Nancy; daughter-in-law, Gladys Sykes; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
