RAYMOND – Freshman Alexsundria Thomas went 5-for-6 and sophomore Dianna Hobgood hit a grand slam to lead the Co-Lin Lady Wolves to a doubleheader sweep over the Hinds Lady Eagles. Co-Lin (2-2) took game one 8-3 and won the nightcap 15-7.

“Glad to get a road sweep,” said Lady Wolves Head Coach Allen Kent.  “Our pitchers did a really good job both games. Christian (Black) gave up three unearned runs in game one.”  Elizabeth (Smith) gave us three good innings, as did Bailey (Root) to finish the nightcap. We gave up one earned run in game two.  Defensively we extended some innings, we must do a better job of making the routine plays.”
