Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a grass fire Friday at 6:19 p.m. on Hwy. 583, and they responded to a car fire involving two vehicles at 10:36 p.m. Friday on Eastview Drive. No injuries were reported. They also responded to grass fire at 10:53 p.m. Saturday on Charley Lane.

Monticello reports

The Monticello Police Department reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a wreck Friday at 7:42 a.m. on Hwy. 27 North. They also responded to a medical call Friday at 9:46 a.m. on West Broad Street.

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department and the Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Friday-Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reports were not available Friday-Sunday.

Highway Patrol report

MHP Troop M responded to a one vehicle accident with injuries Friday on Hwy. 51 North. They also responded to one vehicle accident without injuries Friday on Hwy. 583.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 55 calls Friday-Sunday. 11 were transfers, with two to city, seven to Jackson and two to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. There were 44 emergency calls; 35 medical, with 17 in the city and 18 in the county; five traumas, with three in the city and two in the county; three MVAs in the city and one cardiac in the county.
