Funeral services for “Jack” Asken, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, starting at noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Asken, 73, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was born in Orange, Texas on May 22, 1943, to Marlin Asken and Clara Smith Asken. He retired from the oil field after being overseas for 40 years. He is also a member of Southway Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Dennis Asken and Ernie Asken.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce Asken; two daughters, Kristy Asken, of Brandon, and Kathy Asken Blair, of Raymond; one sister, Frances Asken Adcock of Florence.
