Graveside services for James Ray Strahan, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. James Ray Strahan, 60, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born Oct. 30, 1955. He served in the United States Army and worked as a machinist.

Preceding him in death were his father, Homer Ray Strahan; brother, Jerry Strahan and brother-in-law, Hilton Rushing.

Survivors are his mother, Vera Strahan; wife, Virginia Strahan; daughters, Stephanie Strahan and family and Shannon Strahan Matsinger and family; sister, Judy Rushing Jones and husband Glen; sister-in law, Sheryl Strahan; nieces, Michelle Timmons, Kim Maddox and husband Lee, Kristi Watts and husband Joshua; great nephews, Cole Watts and Kaden Timmons and great niece, Abby Timmons.
