Suspects denied bond in pawn shop triple slaying

JACKSON (AP) — A man and woman charged in the killings of three people during a robbery at a Mississippi pawn shop have been denied bond.

News outlets report 35-year-old Jamison Townsend and 37-year-old Joshua Garcia appeared in Hinds County court Monday for their preliminary hearing. Jackson Police Commander Tyree Jones says their case will be sent to the grand jury.

Townsend and Garcia were charged with three counts of capital murder in the Dec. 17 shooting deaths at a pawn shop in Jackson.

Police say 81-year-old Cleveland Mosley, 60-year-old Robert Ivy and 77-year-old Ted McLemore were killed during the robbery.
