The Social Security office in Brookhaven reopened Wednesday. Recently, a vehicle collided with the office at 1392 Johnny Johnson Drive, damaging the wall and a portion of the interior.

“We had some facility damage,” said Social Security Regional Public Affairs Officer Patti Patterson, “but no one was hurt.”

Patterson said repairs were made to ensure all was structurally sound. The driver was not injured and no arrests were made, said Police Chief Bobby Bell.
