Funeral services for Lorraine Maxwell Farr, of Brookhaven, were held Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fair River Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial at the church cemetery. Bro. Jay Anderson will officiate. Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation was held Friday, March 31, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and continued Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Farr, 89, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born June 4, 1927, in Brookhaven to Hiram Maxwell and Myrtis Rollins Maxwell. She was a retired registered nurse and enjoyed gardening, cooking, ceramics, and loved her church family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clement A. (C.A.) Farr; parents; sisters, Effie Jean Grenn and Mary M. Brown; and brothers, Delmar McClendon, Billy McClendon, and Jack McClendon.

Survivors are her daughter, Mary Campbell and husband Mike; sons, Russ Farr, Murray Farr and wife Paula; grandchildren, Joseph Farr and wife Rachele; Matthew Farr and wife Natalie, Timothy Farr and wife Lorelei, Elizabeth Campbell, and Emily Campbell; great-grandchildren, John Paul Farr, Carly Beth Farr, Abigail Farr, Maileigh Farr, and Cooper Farr; and a host of family and friends.
