(AP) — A 3-year-old Vicksburg toddler has died as a result of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police Chief Warren Armstrong says it appears the boy was handling the gun while his father was asleep and his mother was at work. A teenage uncle was also asleep in the house.
