Police hunt for McComb man in connection with Pike County shooting
A McComb man with horn tattoos over his eyebrows is wanted by police in connection with a shooting Friday in Pike County that left a man in critical condition.
McComb police are searching for J.W. Winding Jr., who they consider dangerous.
Winding, 36, is a black male approximately 5-foot-9 and 205 pounds.
The victim was shot in the 200 block of South Cherry Street, said detective Victoria Carter. He remains in critical condition at Southwest Medical Center.
“The suspect is currently wanted for aggravated assault and is considered dangerous,” Carter said.
