Co-Lin golfers earn postseason accolades

NORMAN, Okla. — Copiah-Lincoln Community College golfers Brandon Blakney, Cole Arseneault, and Joseph Dendy earned Golf Coaches Association of America recognition after they helped lead the Wolves to a fantastic season.

Blakney earned NJCAA Division II PING Second Team All-American after earning All-Tournament Team in four events on the season.

Blakney, Arseneault, and Dendy earned NJCAA Division II PING All-Region. Arseneault finished the season with First Team All-State honors after an impressive performance in the MACJC State Championship hosted at Wolf Hollow Golf Course on the campus of Co-Lin. Dendy also earned First Team All-State recognition in the state tournament and medaled in two events this season.

Co-Lin head golf coach Ronny Ross received post season recognition after being named a Dave Williams Award presented by Golf Pride Grips finalist.

Ross led the Wolves to three victories on the season and fourth in the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.

Ross joins five other finalist including Bill Campbell of Southeast CC, Al Smith of Murray State, Sandy Terry of Tyler JC, and Andy Walker of South Mountain CC.
