Jeff and Kathy Smith announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna Kathryn Smith, of Brookhaven, to Zachary West Brister of Brookhaven.

He is the son of Brad and Ruth Allen and the late Marley Scott Brister.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Verely and Juanita Hamill, of Brookhaven, Donald Ray Smith, of Brookhaven and the late Carolyn Smith.

Miss Smith is a 2013 graduate of West Lincoln High School and a 2015 graduate of Southwest Mississippi Community College. She is a 2017 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed at Family Pharmacy in McComb.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Milton and Janie West, of Brookhaven, and Clinton and Peggy Allen, of Brookhaven.

Mr. Brister attended Brookhaven High School. He is employed with Patterson Drilling Company.

The couple will exchange vows on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Jolimar Summit. A reception will follow.
