Funeral services for Nora Hennis Didon, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Didon, 74, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born Jan. 15, 1943, in Forest County to James R. Hennis and Annie Drucella Strickland Hennis. She enjoyed square dancing, clogging and playing bingo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Lena Bowers and Mary Eva Jenkins; and brothers, Oscar Ray Hennis, James William Hennis, Bobby Lewis Hennis and Jerry Allen Hennis.

Survivors are her husband, Bobby Didon; sons, Michael A. Murphy and wife Carla and Howard Holmes and wife Rhonda; step-son, Jeff Didon; daughter, Nora Ann Price; step-daughter, Amy Tullos; sisters, Carol Annette Johnson and Patricia Culpepper; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
