Funeral services for Sharon Coghlan Boyd, of Bogue Chitto, are Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb with burial at Shady Grove Cemetery. Rev. Van Windom and Rev. Chase Perementer will officiate the services.

Visitation will be today, June 9, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. and continuing Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 1 p.m. until time of services the funeral home.

Mrs. Boyd, 70, died Thursday, June 8, 2017, at her residence. She was born Jan. 20, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Clay and Ann Vines Coghlan.

She was a homemaker and member Shady Grove Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed reading and watching sports and loved watching tennis. Those who knew and loved her will sadly miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Boyd Jr.; daughter, Melinda Sue Jordan; sister, Wanda Coleman; two brothers, Cecil Coghlan and Kelly Coghlan.

Survivors are her one son, Lonnie Boyd III (Sonya); three daughters, Angie O’Brien (Donald), Connie Dunnam (Keith) and Tangela Case (Corey); two sisters, Gail Robertson (Levi) and Jean Fertitta, 13 grandchildren, Jessica Jordan, Tasha Lester (Joe), Alicia Nichols, Hannah Nichols, Alexis Nichols, Dylan Case, Kristen Griffis (Kyle), Katelin O’Brien, Boyd Dunnam, Brooke Dunnam, Sydney Boyd, Sarah Grace Boyd and Clay Boyd; six great-grandchildren, Aiden Jordan, Ashton Jordan, Paige Bradshaw, Coby Lester, Cory Lester and Abbey Forbes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Keith Dunnam, Cory Case, Donald O’Brien, Boyd Dunnam, Dennis Coleman and Charles Wayne McKey.

Honorary pallbearers are Clay Boyd, Carey Bigner, Kevin Bigner, Coby Lester, Cory Lester, Larry Cutrer, Aston Jordan and Aiden Jordan.
