Funeral services for Beryl Beatrice “B.B.” Allred Watts, of Brookhaven, are Monday, June 19, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Watts, 86, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Nov.29, 1930, to Grafton Russell and Beatrice Allred. She was affectionately known as B.B. to family and friends. She married Carroll Watts on Dec. 1, 1949, in Wesson at the Presbyterian Church. She attended Loyd Star School & CoLin Community College. She was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church. She assisted her husband, Carroll, who was church treasurer there for 50 years. She was devoted to her church and community and loved by many friends and family. She was also a member of Loyd Hall Homemakers Club.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister, Thelma A. Stewart.
Survivors are her husband of 67 years, Carroll A Watts; daughters, Beverly Ann Watts and Nancy W. Sivils and husband Robert; sister, Myrtle Jo McGee; and two grandchildren, Watts Coney and Gracie Sivils.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund.
