Funeral services for Carolyn Wooldridge Oldham, of Brookhaven, are Friday, July 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and on Friday, July 7, 2017, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.

Mrs. Oldham, 76, died June 30, 2017, at Augusta Health Hospital in Fisherville, Virginia, while visiting her daughter and family. She was born in West Point.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brookhaven, where she taught classes many years. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker, Sunday School teacher, friend, confidant and mentor. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 1963. She married Sam Oldham, of Jackson, in 1963.

Survivors are her loving husband of 54 years, Sam Oldham; daughter, Lesley McCormick of Lexington, Virginia; son, Sam “Trey” Oldham of Brandon; brother, Dan Wooldridge of New York City; grandchildren, Hayley Oldham, London Oldham, Sara McCormick, Emily McCormick, Sam McCormick and Elizabeth McCormick.
