Funeral services for Dorothy Roberts, of Bogue Chitto, are Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2017, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts, 86, died Tuesday July 11, 2017. She was born April 30, 1931, in Jefferson Davis County, to Shelby and Beulah Butler. She was a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church and served her Lord faithfully.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Harry Kennedy.

Survivors are her husband, Pearlie Roberts; sons, Jeffrey Roberts and wife Victoria, Steve Roberts and wife Penny; daughters, Pamela Kennedy, Debra Albritton and husband Jimmy; brother, Charles Butler; sisters, Bee Brown, Catherine Brown, Shelby Gene Rosero; seven grandchildren, Alan Albritton, Shalane Kennedy and wife Kim, Shane Kennedy and wife Jennifer, Michael Roberts, Elijah Roberts, and Raine Roberts; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Kennedy, Bishop Kennedy and Laney Kennedy.
