Memorial services for Clark Douglas Gunnell, of Ruth will be Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Jayess. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Gunnell, 58, died Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born Sept. 6, 1958 in Brookhaven to Carlos Smith Sr. and Annie Mae Davis Gunnell.

Preceding him in death were his parents; grandparents, Marvin and Eula Mae Davis; brother, Jamie Gunnell; and sisters, Imo Gene Thomas and Olive Garrett.

Survivors are his sons, Bryon Gunnell, of McComb, and Marshall Gunnell, of Taiwan; grandchildren, Hayden Gunnell, Conner Gunnell and Paizley Gunnell; sisters, Bobbie Gross and Betty Justice; brothers, Carlos Gunnell Jr. and Michael Gunnell; and a host of family and friends.
