Barry and Sonya Foster announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their son, Brooks Foster, of Brookhaven, to Madison Tynes, of Gautier.

She is the daughter of Doug and Charlene Tynes of Gautier.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Janice Hunt of Leakesville and Myrtle Tynes of Biloxi.

Miss Tynes is a 2014 graduate of Gautier High School and is currently a student at the University of Southern Mississippi pursuing a degree in elementary education. She is employed as an assistant teacher at East Side Elementary in Clinton.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Jimmy Foster and Peggy Foster, and the late Leroy and Evone Hewitt of Brookhaven.

Mr. Foster is a 2012 graduate of Brookhaven High School and a 2016 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He is employed as a registered nurse at Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children in Jackson.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Gautier.

A reception will follow immediately at the Grand Magnolia Ballroom in Pascagoula.

The couple’s friends and family are invited to attend.
