Funeral services for Johnny Haley, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Haley, 80, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He was born Sept. 3, 1936, to Freemand and May Ella Haley. He was retired from Wal-Mart where he spent many miles truck driving. He loved to golf and go fishing, but he loved his family more than life itself. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are his wife of 57 years, Edna Brewer Haley; sons, Ronnie Haley (Madonna), Terry Haley (Sylvia) and Jeff Haley (Becky); daughter, Connie Haley Baker (Ricky); brother, Charles Winfred Haley (Linda); seven grandchildren, Bill Griffith III, Alan Baker, Candis Haley, Ron Haley, Anna Haley, Garson Haley and Gavin Haley; two great-grandchildren; and many other lvoing family members and friends.
