It’s not often that  you can help a deserving non-profit win $10,000. But that’s exactly what’s at stake for Heritage Hills Orphan Ministry.

The local orphan care advocacy organization helps find homes for orphans.

Though the giveaway is clearly a publicity stunt for the company sponsoring it, Brown Bottling Group, the money is real nonetheless.

We doubt there’s a more deserving non-profit in the running for the cash than Heritage Hills. Voting started July 5 and will continue through Aug. 1. To vote go to www.browngroup.net/charity.

“We believe every child deserves to experience the love of a family and the love of Christ,” said Misty Holcomb, co-founder of Heritage Hills. “Our part in that is to advocate for a community to come together and support orphans. We hope our ministry will spark conversations between friends and families about what part they can play in helping reduce the number of orphans in the world.”

That’s a worthy cause if ever there was one. So do your part and go vote for this organization. You’ll be helping more orphans find loving homes.
