Funeral services for Marvin L. Falvey, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 10 a.m. until service at the funeral.

Mr. Falvey, 78, died Saturday, July 22, 2017. He was born May 4, 1939, to Thomas Emmitt Falvey and Ada Belle Kimble Falvey. He was a retired serviceman for Entergy and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Reginald Falvey; brothers, Charles Falvey, Ray Falvey, Nolan Falvey and Randolph Falvey; and sisters-in-law, Daisy May Falvey and Imogene Falvey.

Survivors are his son, Kenneth Jackson and wife Penny; brother, Doug Falvey and wife Nancy; sister, Vickie Douchard; two grandchildren, Lauren Priest and Kendra Jackson; two great-grandchildren; numerous other family relatives, nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Charlene Lambert and her children, John Lambert and Gwen Brister.

The family would like to thank Mrs. Loretta Prather and her family for being wonderful caregivers and family for Mr. Marvin.
