Funeral services for Bertha May Allen, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Brookhaven with burial at St. John Cemetery in Wesson. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2017, from 1 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Family hour will be Friday, July 28, 2017, from 7 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Allen, 78, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at her residence. She was born April 5, 1939, to Marvin Allen and Lena Stewart Allen. She graduated from Alexander High School in 1958. She retired from the dietary department of King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was also a member of Mt. Wade M.B. Church.
