Funeral services for Glory Rose Lagasse Cronin, of Brookhaven, will be today, July 29, 2017, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Red Star Ward) in Brookhaven at 4 p.m. with burial to follow in the Red Star Cemetery. Bishop Bruce A. Britt will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will also be today, July 29, 2017, from 2 until time of services at the same location.

Mrs. Cronin, 82, died Friday, July 28, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born Nov. 27, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Joseph Robert Lagasse and Lillian Antoinette Conrad Lagasse. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Cynthia Jean Cronin; sisters, Rita Malbrough, Marilyn Breaux Hocke and Grace Arias; and brothers, Antonio Gaurino and Joseph Robert Lagasse Jr.

Survivors are her husband, Carl “Bug” Cronin Jr.; daughter, Nadine Sones and husband Randall ; sons, Eric Cronin,  Dudley Cronin and wife Tiffany, all of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Amanda King, Sabrina Grantham, Erica Christian, Randy Sones, Jesse Sones, Ellen Clark, Danielle Hite, Carl Cronin, Brian Cronin, Brandon Cronin and Autumn Cronin;  22 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
