The Mississippi Department of Transportation and CN Railroad will be making repairs to railroad crossings in Pike County at Hwy. 51 and McKnight Street, south of Jesse Hall Industrial Park Road.

The closure will begin at 7 a.m. today and is expected to last through 6 p.m. on Friday.

“Motorists are advised to avoid this stretch of roadway until the repairs are made to the railroad crossing,” said Transportation Commissioner Tom King.
