Magnolia teen killed in Tuesday afternoon crash
A Magnolia teenager was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Hwy. 48 in Pike County Tuesday.
Justin R. Klunk, 17, was traveling east on Hwy. 48 near the Walthall County line, said Cpl. Brandon Fortenberry with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
The teenager was driving a 2000 Ford F-150 about 2:42 p.m. when the truck left the road and hit a tree. Klunk was transported to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Fortenberry said.
The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
